The challenge
Most new stores burn their budget before they learn what sells. I wanted to see what a complete brand could do on almost nothing: 9,000 EGP of costs over the first quarter, plus a $100 website.
The strategy
Low prices, volume and a brand that looks bigger than its budget.
The execution
A $100 website, a tight ad routine and daily order handling, all run by one person.
The results
First-quarter income grew from zero to tens of thousands of EGP, a 170% return on the money put in.
What I'd do next
Invest the first profits in retention: a returning-customer offer would have lowered the cost of every order after the first.
